Songkran 2..

Today we are leaving from Bangkok to go to Chiang Mai. Which should be the most interesting part of Thailand what's culture is concerned.
We booked a hostel there for under 5 euro's a night, in the centre of the city. I'm curious if it's just as nice as this one and what kind of people we will meet there!
The people from the guesthouse adviced us to travel by Skytrain as much as possible today. Yesterday as much 41 people got killed on the roads of Thailand. It's a chaos everyday, but because of Songkrang a lot of people are drunk. Riding on motorcycles without a license or helmet.. well that's asking for trouble.
We have been celebrating Songkran around are guesthouse today, dancing to music and getting soaking wet. It grazy here!! For lunch we stayed inside, because one step out of the door means putting on different clothes again..
They like our fair skin here and want to touch us when they are drunk. At first we didn't have that problem because the entire guesthouse grew is gay (just enlarge the pictures..) But the neighbours are not and they were getting drunker by the minute.
So we left in time..
The internet is failing here sometimes, so I hope I can upload pictures today. Last night the power was out for two or three times already. It might be because of Songkran, I don't know.

Okay, so we are leaving for Chiang Mai and I'll write some more there. Hopefully you are all okay, I've read that the weather is going to be good this weekend!
